Background:

Queen Galaxy Whitelighter is the mother of Celestia and Luna, Galaxy fought against the Nightmare army with her husband King Sommus Whitelighter. During the early part of the battled with the Nightmare army a lucky shot by the Nightmare infantry soldier took King Sommus Whitelighter out of the battle. This Forced Galaxy to fight the army by herself to protect her babies, who would be killed if found by them.

      The battle between Galaxy and the Nightmare army lasted for days. Close to exhaustion, Galaxy made a faithful decision that would tear her up inside. To save her babies, she would have to abandon them and hope the Nightmare army would pursue her in attempt to destroy her. So Galaxy turned and ran into space. Galaxy looks down onto the planet she loved and saw it, veiled in unending darkness. She held hope in her heart as flashes of light fought back the darkness across the globe.

      As Galaxy watched from the moon, a great snake started to form wrapping its coils around the planet. When the great snake saw Galaxy watching from the moon, it turned and went after Galaxy with the bulk of the Nightmare army chasing Galaxy into space. The remaining ancient Alicorns quickly routed the Nightmare army, forcing them to go into hiding till many centuries later. In space, Galaxy continued running from the great snake, dodging the attempt to capture her, getting farther and farther away from her home system and her babies.

      Then the Great Snake chased Galaxy to the Wall of Forever. Trapped, she had no choice but to face the Great Snake that been chasing her forever. With no hope of ever returning to her babies, she turns to face the threat, charged her horn and waited for the Great Snake to appear.

      Suddenly a nearby star collapsed forming a black hole. Knowing what it meant, Galaxy searched for an asteroid about her size and found it. She charged the asteroid with enough magic to give-off a fake magic aura and waited.

      A moment later the Great Snake arrived. Furious that its prey got away, it turned and got ready to leave. Quickly, Galaxy pushes the charged asteroid toward the black hole and as she hoped, the great snake senses the magic aura. Thinking its prey was trying to kill itself to rob Nightmare Army of its great victory, the Great Snake chased the charged asteroid into the black hole and was swallow up. As the last of the Great Snake’s body was swallow up, Galaxy came out of hiding overjoyed that she defeated the Nightmare Army’s Great Snake. Her joy changed to sadness when she realized that the chase pushed her far away from her home system and her babies. Driven to return to her babies Galaxy headed back.

      For several years Galaxy searched the space ways for her home system. Then shockwaves in the magic force caught her attention. She followed the waves back to the area of space that had very few large systems to search. Because the shockwaves were so faint, Galaxy couldn’t pinpoint which system it came from. So she set forth to search this area of space for her home system; not knowing that her home system was right below her. As a century neared, an immense magic wave rippled through space drawing Galaxy back to her home system and planet.
